About our community
Samford lies north-west of Brisbane, QLD in a rural setting in the South Pine River valley on Brisbane’s northern fringe.
This historic town sits on the skirts of the huge Brisbane Forest Park where more than 26,500ha enclosing lots of listed heritage areas.
This beautiful park is a favourite of bush walkers and serious horse riders. The wide variety of habitat provides a sanctuary for a broad range of native wildlife.
We have an abundance of creativity in our community, a visit to the performers café (first Friday of every month) is evidence of this. Below we list some profiles on some of our local authors and contact information for one of the local book clubs.
